Student Visa USA
I had heard US student visa was a very difficult one. When I met Diamond Sodhi I became motivated to apply for my degree in US as she herself is an MBA from USA and has sent scores of students to the US and other countries since 1998. My admission was process very quickly and I was given thorough guidance about the visa formalities. After an interview with the Visa officer in the US Embassy my Five Year Student Visa was granted to me.”

Singapore Education is a multi-government agency initiative launched by the Singapore Government in 2003 to establish and promote Singapore as a premier education hub and help international students make an informed decision on studying in Singapore. This initiative is led by the Singapore Economic Development Board and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, SPRING Singapore, International Enterprise Singapore and the Ministry of Education. The following describes the key roles that each agency plays in the arena of Singapore Education.
As the promotion agency for Singapore Education, the Singapore Tourism Board engages in a myriad of promotional activities undertaken by the Education Services Division. The focus is on basic education, higher learning, corporate education, and enrichment courses; the roles of the division include:
The Education Services Division is made up of three departments focusing on their respective education services, namely:
1. Basic Education & Higher Learning (BEHL)
BEHL's core duties involve promoting education, from preparatory to post-graduate studies. BEHL works closely with educational institutions and other education providers to understand the industry and develop the necessary channels to promote Singapore Education. Promotional efforts include participating in and organising overseas education roadshows to increase brand awareness and reach out to the target markets
2. Enrichment & Corporate Training (ECT)
ECT works with travel agencies, tour operators and schools to develop and promote educational tour packages for international students interested for short-term exchange and exposure in Singapore. Through such interaction, ECT reaches out to the target markets and seeks to achieve the objective of establishing Singapore as a destination for education and enrichment-related visits. Another core responsibility of ECT is also to work with relevant industry partners to develop personal development courses, and executive training for working professionals.
3. Students Services (SSD)
SSD provides services for international students, ranging from orientation programmes for new students to help them assimilate into the new environment more easily, education counseling services for students who would like to learn more about available courses and also a facility for student feedback that would serve to enhance the educational experience for the international student community here. SSD manages the Singapore Education Services Centre, to provide a walk-in facility for international students looking for the services mentioned above.
Education Services Division is located in the Singapore Tourism Board headquarters.
